Method 1.  Residential and light commercial: The Ultralite provides superior air flow and high vacuum power necessary to effectively remove airborne dust and pollutants from the air ducts and utilizes negative air pressure movement throughout the duct system resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment.

These are the steps in the duct cleaning process.

  • Heating or a/c is turned off
  • access hole is cut
  • The Ultralite is then connected and powered on to start the negative pressure within the ducts.
  • Vent covers are removed
  • To increase are movement we place plastic over vent openings and as a result air is able to move backward through the duct system.
  • We then utilize a variety of brushes or air blast assemblies to loosen debris throughout the duct system. The loosened debris is then caught in the Ultralite’s air flow and contained inside the unit.
  • After cleaning we use Envirocon an E.P.A registered product and fog the ductwork. Envirocon kills fungus and bacteria on contact and then evaporates.
  • Next we turn off the vac and close the access openings with the proper material.
  • Vent covers replaced
  • Once the system is restored we test for proper air flow
  • Air filter Measurements are taken and noted in your customer file for future maintenance.

Method 2. Rotobrush Portable Method  - Used in smaller residential homes and apartments

The Rotobrush is the most effective duct cleaning system in the industry and was designed and patented for one purpose: air duct cleaning. It is the only method that power-brushes and vacuums at the same time. Its is also the only method that goes into each and every vent register in your home and cleans and scrubs each and every duct line. Because the rotating drive cable is contained within the vacuum hose, the Rotobrush can be snaked through the air duct all the way to the plenum.

Right angle turns are routine for the Rotobrush. It brush-vacuums every contacting surface, including wrinkles and crevices of flex-duct found in most systems. When the operator manipulates the rotating brush back and forth all the way to the plenum, and again as it is being extracted, the Rotobrush breaks loose dust and residue much like you would do by hand. Its strong vacuum nozzle sucks up the debris and deposits it safely in the self-contained dust reservoir.

POWERFUL VACUUM SYSTEM
The Rotobrush is not only more portable, but is also more powerful. The redesigned air path has resulted in a 30% increase in vacuum power. This additional vacuum power makes it easier to remove even heavy build up seen in many air duct systems.

HOSE AND BRUSH SYSTEM
The brush system rotates at 450 rpm to loosen the debris from the inside walls of the air ducts. As it is loosened, the debris is then vacuumed up in the nozzle located behind the head of the brush. This combination ensures professionally cleaned air ducts for your customers. Because the rotating cable is enclosed within the hose, it is safe to use in every type of duct application.

VERSATILE POD DESIGN
The Rotobrush Pod design makes even the toughest work spaces easy to clean. The Pod is easily removed from the Carrier to allow you to go into tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces. This versatility will enable you to reach throughout the air duct system and provide your customers a more professional service.
